LAMB OF GOD Film New Video

On July 23, LAMB OF GOD filmed the first video for their upcoming CD on Epic, titled "Ashes of The Wake". The video was shot for the track "Laid to Rest", which is the song featured on the Ozzfest CD sampler that is being handed out at the festival. The "Laid to Rest" video was directed by Chris Sims (EIGHTEEN VISIONS, POISON THE WELL) and features performance footage combined with the conceptual footage that is being described as "frantic and fast-paced so that it matches the intensity of the song itself." Look for the video to debut in August.

"Ashes of the Wake" is scheduled for release on August 31 through Epic Records. The follow-up to 2003's "As the Palaces Burn" was produced by Machine and includes guest appearances by former MEGADETH guitarist Chris Poland and ex-TESTAMENT axeman Alex Skolnick.
